In order us to issue some Export Health Certificates and Animal Health Certificates, we sometimes are required to administer internal or external parasites treatment at the same appointment. This treatment covers things such as ticks, fleas and worms.

For example, if we issue an Animal Health Certificate for a dog travelling to directly Ireland, Finland, Norway or Malta the dog will require tapeworm treatment administering by a vet between 1 and 5 days before arrival. Our Official Veterinarians can administer this treatment at the same appointment as the AHC.

Many Export Health Certificates also require parasite treatment administration to be certified on the EHC. If you book an EHC appointment with us, we will guide you on whether this is required or not.
